DO I NEED TRAVEL INSURANCE?

Bucket List Adventures highly recommends all travelers purchase comprehensive travel insurance  to manage any fees charged in consequence of cancellations by the companies. For more information inquire about insurance coverage when booking your trip.

WHAT DO I  DO IF I  NEED TO DELAY MY TRIP DUE TO COVID-19?

We understand there can be challenges and travel complications due to Covid-19. If you need to reschedule your trip please email us the details of your trip and the challenges you are facing (mention relevant email address.) Our team will contact you at our earliest convenience to discuss rescheduling options.

I  WOULD LIKE TO SCHEDULE A TRIP. SHOULD I  BE WORRIED ABOUT COVID-19?

Due to Rules and Government Policies ongoing changes, our team is regularly following the platforms of concerned authorities like WHO and CDC to remain and decide accordingly about scheduled trips. We have room for facilitating our clients with flexible travel transfers to confirm the protection of your funds.

SHOULD I PAY A DEPOSIT IF I'M CONCERNED ABOUT COVID-19?

We offer Flexible Trip Transfers and Refund options for you to remain confident and relaxed about the money you deposit in case of cancellation of trips because of Covid-19.

CAN I  GET A REFUND FOR MY FLIGHT IF I  NEED TO CANCEL MY TRIP?

If you need to cancel an already booked flight airlines and agents may be able to facilitate travel credit or coupons of the same value you deposited for your flight. We suggest contacting and requesting credit for a flight in the near future.

CAN I  UPDATE AN ALREADY BOOKED TRIP?

Your payments are used to pay for the hotel/residence, activities and other expenses that are included in your trip. When you contact us for to change delay, or transfer your trip to another date by canceling the currently purchased one, we submit a request to the vendors to accommodate the change/delay or repayment. It is important to note that our control in regards to our vendor's policies are limited. We cannot guarantee your requests will be honored. However, we will try our best to negotiate on your behalf.

WHAT SHOULD I  DO IF I  CANNOT MAKE MY INSTALLMENT PAYMENTS?

We understand the challenges and complications that may arise from Covid-19. If you are not able to make your monthly payments please email us to explain the issue. Our team will try and work out a monthly payment plan that is more feasible.

WHAT SHOULD I  DO IF MY TRIP IS CANCELLED?

  • Option A - You can transfer the balance to a different trip as per your preferred dates. The experience will be planned accordingly  at a more suitable time for travel. However, first you would need to:

    • Decide on dates

    • Your Travel Crew

    • Budget

  • Option B - Transfer your balance to another trip that will be scheduled later

  • Option C - We can accommodate a full refund of the payments made towards the trip once you deposit. The deposit can also be used as a credit for the trip in near future.

WHAT IS THE BEST TRAVEL INSURANCE AVAILABLE FOR POTENTIAL COVID-19 CANCELLATIONS?

Typically trip cancellations are covered in standard travel insurance policies. The insurer compensates for the travel cancellation or interruption for the events beyond your control and those which are mentioned in the policy. For instance:

  • Illness

  • Death of the traveler

  • Death of a traveling partner

  • Death of a family member not traveling

  • Unfriendly weather

  • A terrorism accident

  • A natural disaster

are usually covered by the insurance companies under the head of Travel Cancellation or Travel Interruption.

However, the facility of “cancel for any reason” is available for purchase. You can purchase the option along with the standard insurance plan or as an alternative as well. The facility will cover cancellation or interruption even for the reasons not stated in the policy which can include covid-19. 

DO YOU PROVIDE REFUNDS ON LOCATION CHANGES?

We do not issue refunds for the research fee but we do charge an additional $20 if you want to change the destination for your trip?

DO YOU PROVIDE INTEREST FINANCING?

All customer can pay for their trips through Uplift. 

Uplift allows you to spread the cost of your purchase over fixed monthly installments. With Uplift there are no late fees or pre-payment penalties.
